Dear Malaysians
Hello all Malaysians, are you still reeling from the National Day parade a few days ago, which was really very exciting and magnificent. This is the first time after the epidemic that Malaysia is hosting such a big event again. It was a great way to make memories for all Malaysians.1 August is Malaysia's National Day and unconsciously, Malaysia has celebrated 65 years of independence. Malaysia's achievements are the result of the efforts of all Malaysians. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to those who have contributed to the development of Malaysia and without their efforts, Malaysia would not be alive now.
I have been interested in badminton since I was a child, but I have absolutely no talent for playing it, so I have a lot of respect for our national athletes this is because I know that it takes a lot of effort to become an athlete that represents our country. For me, I admire Datuk Lee Chong Wei and I have been watching live matches of Datuk Lee Chong Wei since I was a child, his matches were always great and we could feel his passion for badminton. For every Malaysian's childhood, we would stay up late to watch the live matches and cheer for lee Chong Wei. Through the presence of Datuk Lee Chong Wei, Malaysia has become famous in the world of badminton. This is even though Dato' Lee Chong Wei once held the number one ranking for singles players for 349 weeks, thus becoming the only player from Malaysia to be number one for more than a year. He was also a three-time Olympic silver medalist but always missed out on the championships, which was his biggest regret. However, he withdrew from the competition after being diagnosed with cancer, which was very sad and disappointing news for all Malaysians. However, we are sure that our country will have more good athletes in the future. I also hope that everyone will give the greatest support and encouragement to the national athletes and not judge or blame them for their mistakes or losses.
I feel blessed and fortunate to be a Malaysian. We are a country of multiple races and different cultures, and we have many cuisines that no other country can be compared to. Every race is tolerant and accommodating to each other as well as giving regard to each other. In Malaysia, we all live in peace and tranquillity, and the country is located in a very good geographical location without any serious natural disasters. I sincerely hope that Malaysia will get better and better and that the epidemic will end soon, I love you Malaysia.
All the best
Malaysians
